Part Rationalisation

Part Rationalisation is the process of standardising and logically sorting a company’s part portfolio. It includes duplicate removal, but is much more extensive than simply removing redundant parts.

We look at groups of similar parts and assess how these groups can be re-engineered to standardise many parts into a single part, while not losing functionality. This creates a rationalised part library for engineers to work from and design with, making engineering and business sense.
