We have developed techniques to catalogue, search and browse for CAD models based on their shape. ShapeSpace uses these techniques to produce 3D model search-engines for in-house databases and the web. |

April 2010 A manufacturing company's drastically reduced the downtime of its production line by using ShapeSpace's 3D search technology to rapidly identify a broken part. By using ShapeSpace's advanced part identification software, the part was replaced and downtime reduced.
